Our position
CleverCalculator respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Site to do the same. We respond to clear and complete notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (17 U.S.C. § 512).
Filing a DMCA takedown notice
If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent (below) that includes all of the following, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple works are at issue, a representative list is acceptable.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail (such as the full URL on clevercalculator.com) for us to locate it.
- Information sufficient to allow us to contact you: full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the US, any judicial district in which we may be found), and to accept service of process from the original complainant.
Repeat infringers
We will terminate the access of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
False claims
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification — may be liable for damages. Please make sure your notice is accurate.
Calculators and formulas
Mathematical formulas and scientific facts are not protected by copyright; the way we explain, lay out and illustrate them is. If your notice concerns a formula itself rather than its expression, we will likely decline it.
