The ground rules for using CleverCalculator. By visiting the Site you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legal agreement between you and the operator of CleverCalculator. By accessing or using clevercalculator.com (the “Site”) you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Who can use the Site

You can use the Site if you are at least 13 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the law of your country and state of residence. If you are between 13 and the age of majority, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these Terms and agreed to them on your behalf.

3. What the Site is

The Site is a free reference resource that provides online calculators, formulas and explanatory articles. The calculators are informational tools, not professional advice. They cannot replace a qualified financial advisor, physician, attorney, licensed engineer or other professional. For more detail, see the Disclaimer.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Site lawfully and respectfully. Specifically, you will not:

  • Use the Site to violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Reverse-engineer the Site, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or interfere with how the Site works for others.
  • Use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to extract content in bulk without our prior written permission. Polite, rate-limited research crawlers that respect robots.txt are welcome.
  • Misrepresent the Site or pass off our content as your own.
  • Upload or transmit any malware, virus or harmful code.
  • Use the Site to harass any other person or to send unsolicited communications.

5. Intellectual property

The Site, its calculators, formulas, articles, design, code, logos and the “CleverCalculator” name are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by US and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, print, and download individual pages for personal, non-commercial use, and you may link to the Site freely. Anything beyond that — including republishing, redistributing, or commercial reuse — requires our prior written permission. Mathematical formulas themselves are not copyrightable, but our explanations, examples, code, and overall expression of those formulas are.

6. User submissions

If you send us feedback, a bug report, a star rating, or a request for a new calculator, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, adapt and publish that submission in connection with the Site. You confirm that the submission is yours, does not infringe anyone’s rights, and is not confidential.

7. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to external resources or rely on third-party providers such as Cloudflare (security/CDN) and Google Analytics (measurement). We are not responsible for the content of external sites or for the privacy practices of the providers we use beyond what we explain in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, CALCULATORS AND CALCULATION RESULTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that the results of any calculator are accurate, complete, or appropriate for your situation. You use the Site and the calculators at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL CLEVERCALCULATOR, ITS OWNERS, CONTRIBUTORS OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE OR ANY CALCULATOR — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Site, regardless of the form of action, will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CleverCalculator, its owners and contributors from any claim, loss, damage, liability and cost (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

11. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Site at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or use the Site in a way that risks harm to us, to other users, or to our infrastructure.

12. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. If you are a consumer, this clause does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections under the law of your state of residence.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and post a note on the Updates page. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
